Prosperity
Well, I have have had some time to reflect a bit since Reno. Even though I am in Las Vegas now.
It is amazing how judgement led by false belief systems sneak in sooooo smooooothly. Soooooo
smooooothly in fact that they in fact seem like fact.
The one that hit me this time, through the Genius talent of my dear friend John, was in relationship to 'my' – yes I owned
these thoughts till this miracle occurred that fateful night. We were in the Casino at the Peppermill Resort Hotel where
I was to speak and participate at the annual Eden Event. We got to take part in such openness by
allowing ourselves to just be, and sharing ourselves, so much so, that our hearts became inextricably as one. (I cannot
wait to send the pictures). And so John was open, and cared enough about me to tell his truth.
Anyway, back to prosperity.
As we were cruising through the Casino to get to our chosen place to enjoy a nice meal, I commented to John
on how I had seen several people earlier , while walking into the seminar, and noticed aloud, that some of those same people were still sitting
at the same machine.
And this is where my belief systems speaking to poverty popped in:
What I found myself making up, was that these people were desperately trying to become rich, by chance,
That they were blowing their hard earned money against odds that are rarely beaten. I imagined them going home
to face their families after blowing their grocery money, or car payments, or college funds, or retirement money…
my mind raced on and on. The feeling that began to permeate my body was one of sadness and pity.
John, thank John, interrupted my bucolic fumbling with a simple observation… Greg, don't you see the prosperity here?
It is all around us. Someone has prosperity nailed down very well. What if, he continued, we, from now on pay attention
to the prosperity that is surrounding us, the same that we have chosen to be in at this very moment? Bells and whistles
went off in my head. I quickly realized the wisdom of his words. After all, no one was forcing these people here. It was
their choice to spend their money in any form of entertainment that they chose.
It then occurred to me, that I used to take my boat out every weekend…. It was quite a costly event.
But, I enjoyed boating,so the expense was not a factor in my joy. Then I chuckled to myself, and thought..
At least, on the machines, there was a chance for a cash pay off! I wondered who was actually doing what…
'Reminded me of a very poignant Sufi story, that I will shorten a bit, to get to the point:
There was a Sufi Master with his student, who upon traveling from the mountain to the city, was attacked by the neighborhood bullies
They proceeded to beat the Master rather unmercifully, simply, it seemed to prove that they could. They did so physically,
and mentally, calling him inept, and questioning his great mastery. They even made him crawl through their legs to
show their supremacy. When they had left they were full of laughter and even joy at their accomplishment.
After they had left, the student proclaimed in disbelief to the Master:
Student: 'Master! You could have beaten them even if I had bound your arms and legs, so powerful are your skills of the mind,
and body. Why did you not choose to teach them a lesson,or at least defend yourself?
Master: 'And what, dear student, AM I all about?
Student: 'That's easy Master, you are all about Joy!
And the Master then replied: Did you see the JOY on their faces?
Let's consider…
The vibration of Joy, is Joy
The vibration of Prosperity, is Prosperity,
Seems a change of focus was in order here….
What do you think?
It would be great to hear more of these belief busters… Check in… and share
What about you? Can you lend us your Genius?
" I have this idea, that if we applied our genius, and got together, we could easily
resolve the issues of our planet. We just have to get together and share"
Blessings and Light,
I AM
